How do I report that a child is in danger while online?

If you feel that a child is in physical danger wile online they should be instructed to tell a trusted adult first and then to report the issue to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

How do I report child pornography that I observe online?

If you have encountered photos or videos containing obscene content of individuals 18 and younger, it is important that you report the issue to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The possession, manufacturing, or distribution of child pornography is illegal. To report the issue, please take the following actions:

1. Copy the URL containing the obscene material to help Comcast ascertain the source of the content.
2. If possible, take a screen shot of the material to aid Comcast in the investigation.
3. Report the issue to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

How do I report Harassment?

1. If you feel you are in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement immediately and report the incident to ensure your physical safety.

2. Collect important information to document the nature of the incident. This information can include:
* Emails illustrating harassment, including the email headers.
* Blog/Newsgroup/Chat entries that illustrate the harassment.

3. If you believe that your ISP can assist in your Harassment Investigation:
* Copy and paste any evidence into an email
* Send the email to your ISP.

How do I report Firewall Incidents (Port Scanning, Hack Attempts, Denial of Service, etc.)

Cut and paste the firewall logs into an email and send it to your ISP.

If you need help determining the Internet Service Provider responsible for the offending IP address, visit www.arin.net/whois. Entering the IP address will return the information of the responsible party.
