How do I enable Javascript in Safari?

To enable Javascript in Safari:

1. Open Safari
2. Click on Preferences
3. Click on the Security icon
4. Click on the checkbox next to Enable Javascript
5. Close that window
6. Close this window and click the Reload button

How do I clear the cache in Safari?

1. To clear the cache in Safari, select Safari from the top menu and choose Empty Cache... from the drop down list.
2. A confirmation window will appear asking if you are certain you wish to empty your cache. Select Empty.
3. Your Safari cache has been cleared.

How do I remove a proxy in Safari?

1. Safari uses the proxy that OSX defines. To remove this proxy, select Safari from the top menu and choose Preferences from the drop down list.

2. Select the Advanced button from the top list and click the Change Settings button.

3. This will open the Proxies section of the Network Preferences. If Web Proxy (HTTP) or Secure Web Proxy have a check in the box next to them, remove those checks and click Apply Now

4. Close the Network Preferences window and return to Safari. You will no longer be using a web proxy.

1. To set Safari as your default web browser, select Safari from the top menu, and Preferences from the drop down list.

2. Make sure the General tab is selected, and choose Safari from the Default Web Browser: drop down list.

1. To specify a home page, select Safari from the top menu, and Preferences from the drop down list.

2. Make sure to select the General tab, and enter the web site address you wish to use as your default home page in the Home page: field.

3. You have now set a default home page for Safari. You may close the Preferences window.
