How do I enable Javascript in Firefox?

To enable Javascript in Firefox 1.5 & 2:

1. Open Firefox
2. Click on the Tools menu
3. Select Options
4. Click on the Content tab with the Earth graphic
5. Check Enable Javascript
6. Click OK
7. Click Reload or hit F5

How do I clear the history, cookies and/or cache, using Firefox?

1. Select Tools from the top menu, and Options from the drop down list.

2. Click the Privacy button in the left menu.

3. To clear the list of sites that you have visited, select History and then click the Clear button.

4. To clear your cookies, select Cookies from the Privacy list, and then click the Clear button.

5. To clear your cache, select Cache from the Privacy list, and then click the Clear button.

6. Click OK to return to Firefox.

How do I remove a proxy in Firefox?

1. Select Tools from the top menu, and Options from the drop down list.

2. Make sure that General is selected in the left menu, and then click on the Connection Settings button.

3. Make sure that Direct connection to the Internet is selected. Click OK and then OK again to return to Firefox.

How do I allow pop-ups from a specific site using Firefox?

1. Select Tools from the top menu, and Options from the drop down list.

2. Select Web Features from the left menu.

3. Click on Add Site.

4. Enter in the site you wish to allow pop-ups from, and click OK

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to add additional sites. When you're finished, click OK

How do I specify a home page using Firefox?

1. Select Tools from the top menu, and Options from the drop down list.

2. Make sure that General is selected in the left menu. Enter in the address of the site you wish to set as your home page in the Location(s): field.

3. Click OK to return to Firefox.

How do I change the default location for saving downloaded files using Firefox?

1. Select Tools from the top menu, and Options from the drop down list.

2. Click the Downloads button in the left menu.

3. Select the drop down list next to Save all files to this folder:, and then select Other from the list.

4. Navigate to the folder you wish to save your downloaded files in, and then click OK

5. Click OK again to return to Firefox.

How do I make Firefox my default browser?

1. Select Tools from the top menu, and Options from the drop down list.

2. Make sure that General is selected in the left menu. In the Default Browser section, click on the Check Now button.

3. When prompted, select Yes to make Firefox your default browser.

4. Click OK to return to Firefox.
